”A small Greek temple was moved from Ionia to Louveciennes, on a summer night, on a moonbeam with its lacteal color, and deposited gently on the grass at the edge of the precipice” was said about the music pavillion of madame du Barry because of  the purity and simplicity of the lines.
Designed by architect Claude Nicolas Ledoux for the Comtesse du Barry, the music pavilion was inaugurated September 2, 1771.
